VIDEOS: Kwame Gets Eviction Notice, A NEW Lawsuit, City Council Investigations, and A Possible New Tether

Where to even begin? Today, city council began intensive inquiry of: Mike Stefani (plaintiff attorney on behalf of the police officers Kwame colluded to fire from their jobs with Beatty and and other city employees), Attorney Coleman  and Attorney Sam McCargo (defendant attorney’s on behalf of the Detroit City Council’s LEGAL Department headed by shyster woman Valerie Colbert-Osamuede who told city council to approve the settlement without providing any detail of the secret text message agreements – see: Shyster Woman Exhibits). The interrogations will be continuing over the next several days. Some of us were fortunate enough to observe several hours of the questioning conducted in the city today; we are hoping that the news will archive the filming of these revealing and interesting testimonies. For now, a few videos recapping the purpose of the questioning below.

Then also today, a local action group brought an eviction notice to Kwame’s city offices today to demand he be evicted and resign. Also a NEW lawsuit has been brought against both Kilpatrick and Beatty on behalf of taxpayers seeking compensation for the funds they essentially duped the city out of; approximately 9 million dollars they are asking to be repaid, and rightfully so. AND: Wayne County Prosecutor Offices have filed a motion today seeking more stringency upon Kwame’s whereabouts. The public challenges his ability to traverse around the country seeking financial support from churches in other states; when his agreement with the court outlines his leaving the state as an indicted official are allowable only under the auspice of city business; of which, campaigning for funds is not. Of course, no one is surprised to learn that through all of this, Kilpatrick’s response was his usual diversion spiel; and campaigning his 300 millions “kwame stimulus” package. He remarked snarkily “no one seems interested in all my big improvements” or to similar effect. Right Kwame, no is interested in you because the public opinion unanimously agrees: he is about 7 years too late on taking right action, and about 8.4 million dollars short already. VIDEO (TODAY): Kwame Kilpatrick Tries to Hustle A Bishop While His Goons Manhandle People at Detroit Airport

Kwame Kilpatrick arrives today April 7th 2008 in Detroit airport returning from his “super secret” trip to Texas of which his purpose was to solicit (MO’ MONEY) from Bishop T.D. Jakes of the Potter’s House of Dallas, a pastor with a well to do congregation of near 30,000 members. He did not receive the “support” he was looking for, so he snuck his sorry butt on back to Detroit and denied any agenda (read: he wanted money but instead got the boot ). Unfortunately for him, by the time of his arrival Detroit, the Potter’s House had already issued a formal statement to news broadcasts and newspapers, disproving Kwame’s claim of just an innocent personal trip. The church officially acknowledged Kwame’s attempt at seeking interview with Bishop Jakes, and the Bishop’s stand on the issue as follows:

“The Potter’s House of Dallas, nor it’s senior pastor Bishop T. D. Jakes has no current or future plans of becoming involved in the legal or business affairs existing between the city of Detroit, and it’s mayor, Kwame Kilpatrick.”

Is it clear enough? GO AWAY KWAME! But no, it gets even better. While at the Detroit airport, his “goon squad” starts manhandling the general public, including news media that are routinely GOING TO be at an airport when public officials of any kind are traveling to and fro (newsflash to Kwame: you are not the ONLY public official in the world that flys in and out of Detroit airport….). A very sharp, and courageous passenger at the airport who was one of many witnesses spoke out against their behavior and was filmed on WXYZ news. (You will see her on the video – she is AWESOME; says it straight and strong!) Here’s what some of the news workers experienced by Kwame and his nincompoops at the airport today (and video below):

Kilpatrick’s executive protection unit officers then proceeded to manhandle Action News photographer Johnny Sartin.. Our producer… and me. Sgt. Darren Johnson tussled with our photographer for several minutes… even though we were just trying to ask questions of a public official in a public building. Their assaults brought cries of outrage from several bystanders in the airport, including from one woman who wasn’t afraid to take on the mayor’s bodyguards. 

Please take a moment to send this video clip, your comment and / or request that Kwame Kilpatrick be removed from office; and his security team suspended. This is disgraceful. See below:

Exhibits: Kilpatrick’s Chief Counsel Colbert-Osamuede Selling Fashizzle to Judge Robert Columbo

More spiel from Kwame Kilpatrick’s legal council at Detroit city offices. Just yesterday, on April 4th, Chief Corporate Council Assistant, Valerie Colbert-Osamuede, sends this fashizzle letter to Judge Robert Columbo about why “she forgot about” approving payment of over 8 million dollars of taxpayer money to keep Mike Stefani (and the fired DCP ) under wraps. Her letter appears an attempt to retract what could be seen as further perjurious statements from the Kilpatrick administration, now spewed under the unconvicing auspice of “gee, so sorry, I just didn’t remember that 8 million dollars“.

Will Judge Robert Columbo actually buy into this as justification? We hope not. Because guess what? She also attempts to mislead by erroneously citing every date EXCEPT… the most relevant one:

… the court asked questions directly of me on the record at the January 25th, 2008 hearing… I have discovered the brief and my answers did not fully reflect all the circumstances…. My memory of the October 17th, 2007 document was refreshed only when that document was produced as an exhibit….” Letter to Judge Columbo – PDF

Um, you mean this document? The one with your signature on it dated OCTOBER 18, 2007 the very next day? The approval document that, so far, you have still failed to own up to and that City Council claims they never saw the “secret agreement” for per your iteration of “confidential attorney client privilege” in the memo (below)? The document with your RECOMMENDATION that paying 8 million dollars was “in the best interest of the city“, which directs the finance department to cut a check, and that bears the additional signature of co-fashizzler John Johnson?

Yeah her answer STILL doesn’t “fully reflect all the circumstances”. In January 2008 Valierie Colbert-Osameude stated on record to the public and the press she “was unaware of any confidential agreements” when queried on this incident. Upon the rigorous pursuit of documentation by the Free Press however, it was found in fact: she not only participated in it, she negotiated it, signed it and recommended it (as above). Yet in her own letter to Judge Robert Columbo she asserts the document sent to her via e-mail from Mike Stefani on October 31st was inadvertently sent so she was “exempt” from knowledge. Is she kidding??? Read her spiel letter carefully (linked below) and note how she spins the events occurring on these the dates; then compare them to the events presented in the above DATED approval memo:

Right! As you can see, there is still absolutely no mention of the the issue at hand, or the facts remaining which are: she in full knowledge willfully and purposefully participated in WRITING OFF 8 MILLION DOLLARS. There is absolutely no mention of the most relevant date, October 18th 2007 in context of it being the date of legal execution committed by her own hand. No, instead she wants to carry on about her “inbox” and a bunch of other convoluted crap to divert everyone’s attention. Another schemer and a lier? Do the math. Kilpatrick’s “Detroit Justice Fund” INVALID – (Boo-Yah)

Just in from the Free Press, a local man from St. Clair registered the name “DETROITJUSTICEFUND” with the State of Michigan; for $20.00. Unbelievably, for the $750 dollar an hour Kwame is paying Webb plus the other millions of dollars it is costing for him to retain the other dozen or so on his defense team, NONE OF THEM REGISTERED THE NAME with the state.

Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick’s legal defense fund has suffered its second setback in the week since the mayor announced its creation. … A St. Clair Shores man said he plunked down $20 with the state of Michigan to register the name the “Detroit Justice Fund,” which Kilpatrick had said he would use as the name of the account he would use to collect cash to defray the sizeable legal expenses he is anticipating as he defends himself from 8 felony counts.

I cannot believe it’s not BUTTER! Hello? If you are organizing as a non-profit (which they did) and you are publically SOLICITING money from the public, don’t you know you need to also register your name with the state?

Even funnier, the kind of “donations” Kwame Kilpatrick has been receiving from the public:

Sherman said he has already received two contributions. The first consisted of a snarky note, a penny and $100,000 in monopoly money. Today, he said, “We got one more letter, enclosing a coupon good for Chuck E. Cheese and suggesting his mother take him there.”

Homo Erectus Not Extinct; Hunter-Gathering of Political Allies Lives On

Homo Erectus, the precursor to Homo Sapien (the modern human) were known as hunter-gatherers and for developing extended societal roots. Anthropologists believed them to be one of the first of hominids to live in band societies, and ultimately brought to extinction through natural selection and the course of evolution.

From a recent comment submitted regarding the unbearable situation for Detroit:

“…Here we see Homo Erectus is not exinct… the hunting and gathering of political allies lives on in Kwame Kilpatrick’s administration….“  This was in response to the latest news about Judge Giles’ (the judge conducting initial trial on the case) and his history with Kwame Kilpatrick. News reports that not only does Judge Giles’ wife, Joyce Hayes-Giles, have personal ties with Kilpatrick’s administration, but also that she had Kilpatrick’s current Deputy Chief of Staff (Eddie McDonald) and Kilpatrick’s former campaign manager (Jamaine Dickens) work on her own 2007 campaign for Vice President of the Detroit School Board; a position she still holds. (Sidenote: This is the same school board by the way that also has child abuser Reverend David Hayes among its meritorious members.)

Political consultant Sam Riddle observed that the Hayes-Giles’ political connections raise questions:

“For the judge to say he has no connection with the mayor when his wife has worked with those individuals, it’s a bit misleading.” – Free Press April 4th, 2008 

Yes, and most would also add that Judge Giles himself contributed to Kilpatrick’s campaign additionally, which lends further discredit to impartiality. Does it not? Commentators on the Free Press respond with exclamation “CALL IN THE FEDS!” because there is no way any judge in the local district can competently trial this case whatsoever; it is known that all of them are tied, one way or other, to Kilpatrick’s “extended family” administration.

And this is why, and a very VALID reason why Wayne County Prosecutor’s office seeks to obtain exemption of the 36th District judges; i.e.: for a FAIR trial without underlying political agenda’s impeding the interests of JUSTICE, without further exploitation of the City of Detroit whose residents are PAYING for it.

Then too, exploiting relationships is not new to Kwame. After all, yet again today it was announced that Kwame’s good buddy Bobby Ferguson is now under investigation by the City of Detroit for obtaining (repeatedly) million dollar contracting jobs. People want to know how it happened that coincidentally, all these bids were awarded to the SAME person? Did a bidding process occur for equal opportunity?

Governor Granholm Still Dances Around Kwame Kilpatrick Scandal

Governor Granholm has been seen as “waffly” about taking a stance on the Kwame Kilpatrick scandal. This just in: Kwame wants her job! The funniest article ever, posted a few days ago, “Embattled Mayor Will Run for Governor“.

“I’m young, I’m strong, and I’m sexy,” Mr. Kilpatrick said in a prepared statement following his arraignment on Monday. “I can’t seem to stop my brilliant career from bouncing off the guardrails—this is the most important of the many reasons I would be a great governor.” – Posted on: Smith Is My Real Name (kudos to Smith by the way)

Many would believe (and expect) such audacity by Mayor Kilpatrick, especially considering that Governor Granholm will not take action against him for his many wrongdoings, when she has the power to do so. Letters have been written to Governor Granholm by people from all over the state, calls have been made, not to mention the public voicing their opinions on the web everywhere.

General comments made by the public reveal the overwhelming feeling that Governor Granholm is not doing her job (see public remarks here also). It has been suggested (and perhaps accurately so) that staking her “ethical” highground NO WHERE on this issue indicative of her own political agendas, which could be undermined should she cast her vote in the wrong direction. Everyone knows the State of Michigan would be best served if higher governing officials (like Governor Granholm?) stepped in to stop the Kwameunism. But then, heaven forbid a politician sacrifice popularity (perceived or imagined).

Bill Ballenger, publisher of the Inside Michigan Politics newsletter, speculated that Granholm would not attempt to oust Kilpatrick because it would damage her politically in Detroit, where she’d be viewed as an interloper. – Mayor’s Foes Seeking Help From Granholm

Today, a letter from her offices was posted sharing her official response to the matter of the increasing public outrage that Kwame has inspired:

Dear Constituent, Thank you for sharing your concerns about the ongoing controversy surrounding Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick. I would like to take this opportunity to share with you some comments the Governor has made on this important issue”

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy has conducted an investigation into this matter which has resulted in the filing of criminal charges against Mayor Kilpatrick. As the former Michigan Attorney General and a former federal prosecutor I believe it is critical that the legal process be allowed to work. Therefore, I will not interfere, by comment or action, in this criminal proceeding. Also, because the law establishes a potential role for me in this matter, I cannot and will not comment in any way that might compromise the criminal justice process.”

Yet, her action of “NON-ACTION” in reality serves to challenge public confidence in her leadership. From the people’s perspective: “ignoring it is enabling it“. People don’t seem satisfied with the “neutral” response as indicated in the above letter from her offices, and are wondering if anyone “up there” is paying attention.

Residence Inn: The Ho’s Hotel? And Kwame’s Bullying

What is it with the Residence Inn? Yet another philanderer escaping from the Residence Inn HO-tel; Thomas Athans, the husband of Michigan Senator Debbie Stabenow, and co-founder of the TalkUSA radio network. (More at CNN )

Athans was pulled over by police on I-75 minutes after leaving the Residence Inn on Livernois, just east of I-75 and south of Big Beaver, the evening of Feb. 26. He was driving a Cadillac DeVille registered jointly to him and Stabenow at their address in Lansing.He was ticketed for driving on a suspended license. When questioned during the stop, he acknowledged he had been at the hotel with a woman he met on the Internet. On further questioning, he acknowledged he had paid the woman $150 for sex. Free Press 

And by now everyone knows Kwame’s preference for the Residence Inn:

Beatty: OK, I’m feeling like I want another night like the most recent Saturday at the Residence Inn! You made me feel so damn good that night. … Kilpatrick: I feel that we can do that in WV (West Virginia)+ just relax together. I need you soooo bad. I want to wake up in the morning and you are there. Make it happen.

 But why should we be surprised at the continued unraveling of Michigan government? After all, just today one of Kwame Kilpatrick’s appointed Detroit SCHOOL BOARD Members is charged with child abuse and his children removed from the family home. Did we forget to mention his name is “REVEREND“??? (Detroit News Headline – April, 2 2008) But that sort of thing probably doesn’t concern Kwame Kilpatrick. After all  his fashizzle in the City of Detroit, he was sure to “make it happen” that:  NONE of HIS OWN kids go to Detroit schools. No, they go to fancy private schools instead and socialize with the type of people Kwame’s less than 100 friend and family supporters are flaming. The taxpayers that Kwame steals from. Kwame’s double standard and divisiveness is utterly reprehensible.

Like: the recent ploy of having his lackey’s issue a memo to all the EMPLOYEES of the city bullying Detroiter’s not to “talk bad ’bout Kwame“. Then after the fact, his office denies anything to do with it. Except everyone knew it was a bunch of smack because curiously enough, the memo directed anyone with information about “anti-kwame” speak to CALL KWAME’S OFFICE and report it. Yeah ok. In case anyone is interested in signing up, Kwame even gave his latest media effort a name. It’s called: The Kilpatrick Media Watch Campaign.

“The kicker is that while they are using their own e-mail addresses, the telephone number they issued rings in the mayor’s office….”

Did we forget to mention the “Kilpatrick Media Watch Campaign” was spearheaded by Kwame’s cousin (one of about 20 employed by the city)???

Newsflash folks, the reality: Here’s what Detroiters and Michigan Resident’s Have To Say About Defending Kwame …..

And as a sidenote, Kwame is still pushing for his “300 million” dollar casino based economic stimulus “fund” (oops, we meant to say plan). Except the City Council of Detroit is not interested, nor listening to him, because they have all voted that he should step down and resign. Along with the City of Detroit’s largest employee’s union that have just about unanimously called for Kwame’s resignation.

Hip Hop Mayor Sing-A-Long

There’s been alot of discussion going on surrounding the forthcoming trial of Kwame Kilpatrick. Kym Worthy was interviewed recently; she was to the point (see the first link in the player on right side of the linked page). We like Kym. And, there’s also alot of hubris; like the interview with Kilpatrick’s general counsel McPhail posted yesterday. The funniest part of the interview is after all the legalese of “why the prosecution is in the wrong”, the interviewer point blank asked McPhail, “ok, so you’re saying those aren’t his text messages?” Right.

So in honor of April Fool’s day, a collaberative effort by some of our friends and contributors, a Hip Hop Mayor Sing-A-Long. This was done during a virtual lunch chat, the sound quality isn’t the best and it’s not fancy flash but hey, how much time can you spend on a fool, on April Fool’s day.
