Detroit Mayor Kilpatrick Now Pushes Propaganda Using Police and Fire Department Workers

Check it out— there’s no level to which Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick will not stoop to keep his hold on the City “throne”. Now it’s propaganda using Police and Fire department workers. Mayor Kilpatrick decides to pull the very NEEDED police and fire department force off of crime and safety diligence to instead, go door to door at residents homes with “bags of propaganda” on behalf of the Mayor. They are directed to hand deliver “baggies” to residents whom previously, never received so much as visit by Kilpatrick to their areas. Federal Court Tells City of Detroit: TURN OVER DOCUMENTS

In federal court today Judge Gerald E. Rosen was surprised to discover that unlike the proper protocol of municipal corporations, City of Detroit decided to shred official documents that should be retained. This appears a rather suspicious act on behalf of Kilpatrick’s administration,. and doesn’t help defend him in either the lawsuit regarding slain dancer Tamara Greene, nor  the suit regarding his other text message scandals with Christine Beatty and investigations into misappropriation of millions of taxpayer dollars.

“I find it frustrating and surprising that a municipal government would not keep these kinds of records for some period of time,” U.S. District Judge Gerald E. Rosen said. “There are all sorts of reasons why these records should have been kept.” Greene, who was shot to death in Detroit on April 30, 2003, was linked to a long rumored but never substantiated party at the mayor’s Manoogian Mansion in the fall of 2002. – Detroit News

Right on Judge Rosen! Not the least of good reasons would be: Mayor Kilpatrick’s very own policy that internal communications are PUBLIC record and subject to inspection by the PUBLIC.

How curious to find that somehow, Detroit City’s communications are now magically missing and thus exempt from inspection? Well, the Judge wasn’t buying any of that argument. In response to the City’s attempt to waylay investigations saying “they can’t come up with documents because they shredded them”, the court says, “We’re going to get to the bottom of this”. (GOOD!) Further, while city attorney’s were attempting to halt proceeding of the Tamara Greene murder case due to the Mayor’s 8.4 million dollar text message scandal, federal court also denied this as well and their “gag order” request. People everywhere are happy to find SOMEONE is taking interest in the corrupt leadership that has continued to occurr in Detroit  which has risen to the level of making a significant negative impact upon the entire State of Michigan no less.

Kwame Kilpatrick’s Collage of Accomplishments and Revenue Agenda of Fining Senior Citizens!

Unbelievably, despite worldwide knowledge of the abysmal state of Detroit city on every possible level, not the least of which is: hundreds of neighborhoods laden with abandoned, unkempt, crime ridden activity; Detroit City under Mayor Kilpatrick’s leadership has decided to now focus on fining elderly residents who failed to remove their trash can from the sidewalk on a holiday — after residents were informed the trash would be delayed for pickup; a common occurrence in every city during state holidays. Yes everyone, a SINGLE SOLITARY trash can on the driveway of a perfectly well kept home, one of the FEW remaining in Detroit  is singled out despite the mass trash heap that the city itself has become. Let’s compare the logic with the reality of Kwame’s success in managing the city of Detroit in this collage: 

“An 80 year old elderly resident was fined $100.00 plus a $10.00 ‘justice assessment fee’ plus a $20.00 ‘administrative fee’ AND ordered to appear before the city’s Department of Administrative Hearings, presumably to explain their “menace”….” – Detroit Free Press 4/13/08

A local resident comments, “You have got to be kidding me. The City of Detroit is hassling senior citizens about a garbage can yet the majority of the city is a trash laden dump? Unbelievable.” And it IS unbelievable. Yet the serious lack of quality leadership in Detroit is SADLY no surprise. Also today, an observant journalist in Flint recalled the opportunity the city had to improve some of the situation particularly regarding the HORRENDOUS school systems in the city. The Detroit Schools are notorious for being victimized by crime, not having basic necessities like toilet paper, and notorious for theft, drugs, violence, gun use as daily occurrences. Detroit city schools are the absolute WORST in the entire nation. But this is not a priority or concern for Kilpatrick after all, his kids DON’T GO to Detroit city schools! After all his playing the “race card” and pontificating his “deep love of Detroit and whitey is the bad guy”, it is particularly amusing that:

1. His kids don’t go to any city school but to chartered schools with “white kids”.
2. His super high powered attorney’s are all “white”, and NONE of them are from Detroit either!
3. When presented with the opportunity to improve the schools via a generous gift funded by a common citizen who was willing to donate 200million dollars, Kwame squashed the idea and held rallies to encourage people NOT to improve education but instead be “anti-white”. Along with  the other city clowncil idiot Sharon McPhail at the time (surprised?) whom further insulted the idea by publicly humiliating the donors INCLUDING African Americans by presenting them with the “Sambo Sell-out Award” on local news.

(VIDEOS) Tragedy of America: Detroit Government Suffers From Monica Conyers Abuse

For history about the disgraceful (but typical) behavior that Detroit City Council member Monica Conyers recently displayed on full worldwide public view, see the original post: Monica Conyers Cat Fights (More Videos). Subsequently, over 2,000 public comments demanding her resignation and / or REMOVAL from city office have been voiced just on this one incident alone. Is anyone listening?  On this point, we would like to share a well articulated address on how the kind of thug behavior and low level of consciousness such as demonstrated by Ms. Conyers, remains the underlying CAUSE of the widespread degradation and breakdown of core values necessary for any successful governing body. While the address was geared overall relevant to the entire country, it absolutely applies here. The City of Detroit remains a LIVING example of the broad range damage incurred on every level, from lack of ethical, educated, leadership. From AEI Public Policy Research:

“…The current system is DESTROYING people…an an utter disaster with enormous profound HUMAN conequences…and the need for new thinking, new ideas and NEW solutions. …How many 8th graders will take up drugs before math and science? How many 13yrs olds will become madames (prostitutes)…? How many need to be killed and sent to prison? We have squandered education…. and dismantled the essential support systems to make gains possible. We have in effect created an unthinking, unilateral education disarmament. Is anyone HONESTLY willing to defend the current system is working?…The tragic truth is the current system is NOT working because of two topics we don’t like to talk about: BAD culture, and BAD government….These intersect to REINFORCE each other to create human and financial cost…we have a failure of government and failure of culture… leading to the rise of BIG bureaucracy combined with a rise of “counter culture” which despised middle class values that taught patterns and habits of destruction. Unfortunately, those MOST needing to listen to this message would never consider setting aside their enormous ego’s to do so. Indeed, when citizens called City of Detroit yesterday voicing outrage the city clerk responded with “… Yeah well it was all the NEWS fault.” Should we be surprised at the utter ignorance demonstrated? Sadly for Detroit,  the sheer lack of concern or integrity by those running the city is NO surprise.

Monica Conyers had the audacity to get on the news and DEFEND her bogus tirade and abuse of the entire council, and, the abuse of the residents who were attending the hearings. She states, “It was EVERYONE’S ELSE’S fault… I’M NOT the “bad guy”… THEY are!“….. Despite unanimous pleas for her to cease her volatile behaviors, SHE CONTINUED. She, like the City Clerk, blamed EVERYONE ELSE — instead of being accountable – and she certainly SHOULD be accountable and also STEP DOWN. She has been likened to a petulant kindergartener that did not get her own tyrannical way. Yet, in response to Ms. Conyers abuse of the other council members, Detroit City Council members President Ken Cockrel along with Sheila Cockrel and the others, all maintained poise, grace, and elegance despite the extremely embarrassing situation. President Cockrel was interviewed briefly after the incident and stated the obvious which was “that type of behavior is just inappropriate“. VIDEO HERE (And Linked Below): 

Another interesting point is that Monica Conyers, as shown HERE… and also addressed HERE, clearly supports Kwame Kilpatrick and has continued to CRITICIZE any investigations of him. Then on the news she will pretend she acts “unbiased” on behalf of the victimized people of Detroit, which she clearly does not. After all, it is Kilpatrick who endorses further degredation of the people with advocacy of GAMBLING in the city, which is part of his stimulus fund. RIGHT ON MONICA CONYERS OWN WEB PAGE SHE HAS THE GALL TO ENDORSE A CASINO on the City Council’s OWN website! What?????? See comments on this image screencaptured below:

By the way, was this the REJECTION letter Monica received from her last attempt at availing a job? People wonder….. since we all know she only was appointed to this one by dropping her husband’s political name around town and bullying everyone to obtain the city council position. April 10 2008 Detroit City Council Hearings Recap

There are over 450 comments in queue regarding the ongoing hearings. Wayyy too much to try and include all of them in one post, so here’s a recap, and an image submitted from Sharlene in Detroit which pretty much sums up the general concensus on these proceedings (at end).

Recap of hearing:

1. The two most FAVORITE council members are: President Kenneth Cockrel and Sheila Cockrel. Why? Because they HAVE a brain. There are several other council members who also conveyed they were willing to get at the truth. And Monica Conyers was NOT one of them – which leads us to the next point.
2. The LEAST favorite council member by unanimous public comment is: (see also comments posted here and here) — Monica Conyers! Why? B-I-G agenda. And also, for pursuing uninformed lines of questionings that clearly were intended to divert the public from the facts. Like instead of asking for FACTS of execution of Colbert-Osamuede, she asked, “so tell us what you have learned from this experience? what can the council do to improve in the future?” WHAT! This was an offense to many citizens all of whom were wondering where she got a law degree –WONKA SCHOOL? Yes we all learned today that anyone can steal 9 million from the City of Detroit and get away with it if they are Monica Conyers friend. Her “photo feature” on Kilpatrick’s Detroit (in) justice Fund website isn’t helping change public view along with her biased approach to this issue that favor’s sweeping things under the rug instead of: THE TRUTH. 
3. RE: Representing the City, Attorney McCargo: BUSTED. Sorry, no one really believes your hype that “you didn’t know” despite you expressly REQUIRED the prosecution to split the settlement agreement into 2 SEPARATE documents with intent to hide information. Stefani was happy to settle the FIRST TIME as everyone is aware. City of Detroit’s counsel are the ones that sought all the convoluted agreements and why? Because Kwame was GUILTY of something. Duh. Also by the way, responding to every other question the council asked of you with the pat answer of “I can’t answer that under attorney client privilege” is hiding. Behind technicalities. 
4. RE: City Attorney Valerie Colbert-Osamuede: BUSTED. Another one that sat there with repeated feigns of ignorance. “Gee, I didn’t know about the secret agreement even though I signed off on your behalf for it, I will excuse myself before the whole world under the auspice of ignorance because I didn’t know about it even though I choreographed it and signed it, and I didn’t know that I should inform y’all at city council about this 8.4 million dollars.” Wah… Right. A local resident describes her testimony best, “I’m positive that I didn’t know what I knew about a secret deal when I knew that there was something to know, but I didn’t know that I should know what I knew when I knew that it was pertinant to know. I can only recollect what I knew at that time to be correct that I knew that there was nothing to know that I should report anything if I didn’t know what I knew. Had a I known what I knew I would have probably known it and I could have told you but since I only knew what I now know I gave you all of the information.” Yep, this sums up the whole 4 hours of it.

Subliminal Message for Detroit City Government: Watch Manda Bala

This had to be posted separately although originally it was intended to go along with the recap of today’s hearings by the Detroit City Council. However, the comments by the public so voluminous on this event, the movie recommendation would have gotten lost amidst the other points, so here it is: MANDA BALA. It would be worth anyone’s time to watch this revealing film that has won several awards, but it is particularly being suggested for anyone in Detroit City government, and particularly, those in high public offices (read: the Mayor). While the film centers on the corruption of government in Brazil, the concept APPLIES.

Abstract: Manda Bala—> points fingers at corrupt politicians, illustrating how their greed leads to civilian poverty, and how this destitution leads to crime.

 

Self explanatory enough? (though perhaps not for Monica Conyers… the public consensus regarding her participations in the city’s hearings unanimously has been: “she clearly has a big “agenda”, and this is to divert any negativity away from herself or the city at the expense of the citizens and… the TRUTH“.) The subliminal message for our leaders is: WE DON’T WANT DETROIT TO BECOME LIKE THIS. Fair enough request?

Detroit Cops Convicted of Extortion While Kwame Sings Theme Song? (Old Skool Video)

Thanks again to Kwame for creating a notoriously corrupt police department. This must be why he conspired to have reputable officers FIRED like Gary Brown. While there remain many Detroit officers of integrity, there’s far too many following Kwame’s lead. Old time DCP are furious at the bad rap punks are giving the department indeed, hardly bothering to hide extortion of the public (related article: Detroit Cops Convicted Felony Extortion). Should we be surprised though really? Look at the example set for them. Of course, no comments were issued from either the Mayor’s office or the Chief of Police (who is increasingly becoming unpopular by the way as voiced by locals on the news). It is insulting and outrageous this behavior is allowed without any formal acknowledgement internally.

Youth Speak Out About Kwame Kilpatrick With Video

A courageous young man has sent a letter to the news articulating his deep disappointment about Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick. As a resident and young student he has witnessed and experienced first hand the continuing decay of the City of Detroit due to Kwame’s poor example and leadership. Where to even begin? Today, city council began intensive inquiry of: Mike Stefani (plaintiff attorney on behalf of the police officers Kwame colluded to fire from their jobs with Beatty and and other city employees), Attorney Coleman  and Attorney Sam McCargo (defendant attorney’s on behalf of the Detroit City Council’s LEGAL Department headed by shyster woman Valerie Colbert-Osamuede who told city council to approve the settlement without providing any detail of the secret text message agreements – see: Shyster Woman Exhibits). The interrogations will be continuing over the next several days. Some of us were fortunate enough to observe several hours of the questioning conducted in the city today; we are hoping that the news will archive the filming of these revealing and interesting testimonies. For now, a few videos recapping the purpose of the questioning below.

Then also today, a local action group brought an eviction notice to Kwame’s city offices today to demand he be evicted and resign. Also a NEW lawsuit has been brought against both Kilpatrick and Beatty on behalf of taxpayers seeking compensation for the funds they essentially duped the city out of; approximately 9 million dollars they are asking to be repaid, and rightfully so. AND: Wayne County Prosecutor Offices have filed a motion today seeking more stringency upon Kwame’s whereabouts. The public challenges his ability to traverse around the country seeking financial support from churches in other states; when his agreement with the court outlines his leaving the state as an indicted official are allowable only under the auspice of city business; of which, campaigning for funds is not. Of course, no one is surprised to learn that through all of this, Kilpatrick’s response was his usual diversion spiel; and campaigning his 300 millions “kwame stimulus” package. He remarked snarkily “no one seems interested in all my big improvements” or to similar effect. Right Kwame, no is interested in you because the public opinion unanimously agrees: he is about 7 years too late on taking right action, and about 8.4 million dollars short already.
